# quick-pack A simple mod to optimize datapack / resourcepack zip file loading times. It scales particularly well for zips with **many** files, but also yields faster loading times for small resource packs. ## quick-pack vs vanilla This is a comparison between loading the resource pack generated by [polymania v0.6.2](https://modrinth.com/modpack/polymania/version/0.6.2) with quick-pack vs without it (vanilla). Polymania generates a 44.3MiB zip file with 60369 entries inside! ![Loading Demo Resource Pack](https://i.imgur.com/dqEDVQX.gif) _quick-pack finishes after 2 seconds, while vanilla needs 36 seconds!_
