This mod adds a single item, The Eccentric Tome

The purpose of the tome is to store all those nasty guidebooks in a single item and allowing you to manage them.

Books can be accessed through a very simple interface and it can even handle single use books.

Tomes are item based, meaning each tome item can have different books.

When using a single-use item, the item will be removed from the tome.

Crafting

Craft the Tome by combining a book and a bookshelf:

Combine the Tome with other books in the crafting grid to attach them

Controls

**Right-Click** while holding the Tome to open the book selection screen 

Shift + Right-Click  while holding the Tome to convert the book for the block you are looking at

Left-Click  on air to revert a book back into the Tome

Shift + Q while holding the converted tome to eject a book from it

Valid Items

By default you can put all guide books from patchouli and modonomicon into the tome. 

The mod also adds support for various other books in the config. Some of the default config values include:

• Immersive Engineering's Manual
• Tinker's Construct Books
• Pagan's Blessing Guide Book
• The One Probe's Probe Note
• Compact Machine's Shrinking device
• Alexs Mobs Animal Dictionary
• … and a whole lot more!

If a guidebook cannot be attached to the tome, join our Discord or add the books item id in the config yourself.

Aliases

Aliases can be used to change the modid for a book stored in the tome. This is particularly useful, if an addon mod for another mod adds its own guide book.

For example:

• RFTools
• Integrated Dynamics
• Mystical Aggriditons
