Him is a horror modification that will enable Herobrine to haunt your worlds and servers. Once you've invited his presence by summoning him with The Caller or via commands, he will watch from afar and torment his subjects up close.

This work in progress mod has two main functions, with more coming later down the line:
1. Natural spawning of Herobrine around and close to players
2. The power to scare specific players with Herobrine jumpscares via commands

If spawning has been enabled with the /haunt command or with The Caller block in v1.1 or later, every so often, a player in the world will be randomly picked and Herobrine has a random chance of a) simply appearing near them, watching for a while and disappearing, b) appearing right behind them or c) jumpscaring them by appearing in front of them. These events can also be triggered for individual players with commands.

Commands and Features

The mod adds four commands and one new block:

/haunt - Enables/disables spawning of Herobrine in a world

New in v2.0 /hauntfrequency [minutes] - Herobrine will wait however many minutes you input here before spawning again. By default he spawns every 10 minutes or so.

/call - Triggers a Herobrine apparition to a random player in the world

/scare [player] - Input a username and Herobrine will appear right behind them

/jumpscare [player] - Input a username and Herobrine will materialize in front of the player, produce a cacophony of sound from the depths of hell and give the player tunnel vision

New in v2.0 /schizo - Enables/disables creepy footsteps and whisper sounds behind the players at random times

New in v2.0 /himhelp - Displays all the commands in the mod and explains what they do

Changed in v2.0 The Caller - A craftable block that can enable Herobrine spawns without commands. To use The Caller, surround a redstone torch with natural deepslate (obtained by smelting cobbled deepslate) in the crafting table, place the block on the ground and right-click it. The Caller is a physical manifestation of an anomalous entity. It cannot be broken once placed, and once He has been called, there is no way to drive Him away. Use with care.
