Description

Bleak & Barren adds 11 new biomes to the Overworld that transform your world into a desolate landscape devoid of lots of life. Entire forests of dead trees, dried-up plains, and deteriorated savannas now make up parts of your world that used to be vibrant terrain, fitting to an industrial, horror, or post-apocalyptic theme.
Biome Overview
- Barren Drylands - A barren landscape with patches of dead grass and mud.
- Desolate Forests - Comes in 3 variations - Regular, Birch, and Dark. Trees are sparser and are often devoid of leaves
- Abandoned Farmland - A place where agriculture used to be present, but all organized plant life has since died off
- Spruce Parkland - an overgrown field with sparse trees and tall grass
- Droughted Tropics - A tropical area which lacks water, making it rather dead.
- Arid Savanna - A dried-up savanna consisting of less trees, mud, and red sand
- Bushland - A rare sub-biome for the savanna made nearly entirely of red sand. Has bushes.
- Frozen Wasteland - A rare snow biome which is made up of ice, snow, and stone in place of dirt and grass.
- Frozen Forest - An even colder taiga
Only vanilla blocks are used, so performance impact is very light
