Bones And Swords is a mod that focuses on adding new pirate themed mobs, Items and Structures with a heavy focus on exploration. This mod adds many new structures such as pirate ships and new shipwrecks, as well as many new mobs and two new mini-bosses to fight, adding an extra level of exploration to the overworld with many rare drops and treasures to find!

 

Mobs :

Skeleton Corsair

Basic pirate, nothing special

 

Drowned Corsair

Basic Pirate, is found wandering around in beaches

-Applies Deadly Seas effect

 

Drowned Pirate

Basic pirate that spawns in every single ship, and has a small chance to drop its hat

-Applies Deadly Seas effect 

 

Drowned Captain

Spawns only in the big ships, and has a small chance to drop a Pirate feather

-Summons Drowned Pirates

-Applies Deadly Seas effect 

 

 Key Keeper

 Spawns on medium and large ships and drops a Key 

-Gets angry when hit

-Sinks in water

 

Golden Skeleton

Rare skeleton that only spawns in big ships

-Scared of Pirates

-Drops His Head

 

Cast Away Skeleton

Shipwrecked skeleton that has a small chance to spawn on beaches and beached ships

-Has a small chance to spawn holding a Shell Dagger 

 

Bouldering Marauder

Spawns on medium and large ships

-High knockback

-Applies Weakness 

 

Lobber Buccaneer

Spawns on medium and large ships

-Shots rotten flesh

-Spawns arrows over his head when defeated

 

Ghost Creeper

Spawns in large numbers on ships, being able to fly around and attack unsuspecting players

-Has a high chance of dropping gem shards when killed

 

Sander

Small sand creature that hunts in pakcs spawning in beaches

-Hits surprisingly hard

-Hunts cows

Captain Skeleton

Spawns on Lost ships that can be found on Frozen Ocean Biomes,

Drops the Golden Scimitar and Fang Talismans

-Spawns Pirates

-Attacks with evoker fangs

-Applies Deadly seas effect

-Spawns sleeping on his ship

 

Dusty Skeleton

Simple minion

-Spawns from the Treasure Pillar

-Can Spawn with a Shell Dagger

 

 

Lost Skeleton

-Boss of the Treasure Pillar

-Applies weakness

-Spawns Sand Tornadoes during the fight

 

 Treasures:

Golden Skull

Removes all potion effects when right-clicked

Drops from Golden Skeleton

 

Aquamarine Skull

Applies conduit power when held in water

Found in Treasure chests

 

Skull of Doom

Can one-shot almost any mob with a left click, breaking it in the process

Extremely Rarely found in Treasure chests

 

Dragons Eye Gem

Provides a constant effect of Health Boost when in a players Inventory

Rarely found in Treasure Chests

 

Flame Artifact

Rapidly shoots 3 fireballs in the direction the player is looking, slowly regenerates durability over time

Found in Treasure Chests

 

Fang Talisman

Summons evoker fangs all around the player when right-clicked

Dropped by the Skeleton Captain

 

Pocket-sized Sand Typhoon

Launches the player into the air when right-clicked

Dropped by the Lost Captain

 

Skull Handle

Used to craft both of the Skull weapons,

Rarely found in Treasure chests

 

Skull Blade

Used to craft the Skull Crusher,

Rarely found in Treasure chests

 

Skull Scythe Blade

Used to craft the Skull Shatterer

Rarely found in Treasure chests

 

 

Hats and Helmets:

Pirate Bandana

Simple, reliable bandana,

Rarely Dropped by Skeleton Corsairs

 

Bandana of Rage

Provides strenght I while worn,

Rarely Dropped by Key Keepers

 

Buccaneer hat

Simple, unique design

Rarely dropped by Lobber Bucaneers

 

Pirate Hat

The classic

Rarely dropped by Drowned Pirates

 

Captain's Hat

Like the classic, but stronger

Craftable  with a Captain's Feather

 

Lost Captain's Hat

Like the classic, but more well kept

Craftable with a Lost Captain's Feather

 

Skeleton Captain's Hat

Like the classic, but more imposing

Craftable with a two Skeleton Captain's Feathers

 

Crowns of the Seas

When worn underwater or in rain, applies conduit power, dolphins grace and Strenght II

Rarely Found in Treasure chests

 

 

Swords and Tools:

Cutlass

Iron sword with a faster attack speed

Found in ship loot chests

 

Scimitar

Deals extra damage to mobs with no armour

Found in ship loot chests

 

Shell Dagger

Gives strength when held in water/rain

Drops rarely from certain mobs

 

Double Edge Sword

Throws mobs upward with each strike

Found in Treasure chests

 

Phantom Blade

Launches the player foward when right-clicked

Found in Treasure chests

 

Gem Blade

Consumes gem shards to deal extra damage

Can be crafted

 

Gilded Pickaxe

Faster then gold tools, small chance to drop gold nuggets when used, does a high amount of knockback

Found in Treasure chests

 

Midas Shovel

Faster then gold tools, small chance to drop gold nuggets when used, does a high amount of knockback

Found in Treasure chests

 

Golden Scimitar

Deals extra damage to enemies with armor

Dropped by the Skeleton Captain

 

Skull Crusher

Deals a lot of extra damage to Undead mobs, being able to one shot  simple skeletons and zombies 

Can be crafted

 

Skull Shatterer

Heals the player when damaging undead mobs

Can be crafted

 

 Other Features 

Deadly Seas Potion

The deadly seas effect damages mobs that are standing in water or in rain.
