Survival Tools

Survival Tools is an mod that adds a number of tools and machines used to regulate player temperature and thirst. This mod has built-in support for both Tough As Nails and SimpleDifficulty and includes tools useful for both lightly and heavily modded environments.

One of the most unique features of Survival Tools is the implementation of the fluid containers such as canteens. Whereas SimpleDifficulty and Tough as Nails use abstract item tags or weird item damage to determine the type of fluid and the number of draughts, Survival Tools items are fully functional fluid containers.

This means Survival Tools items can be filled and emptied by interacting with fluid tanks, world fluids and even modded bottling/filling machines. However, this comes with a limitation, Survival Tools fluid containers can only hold Purified Water.

💧 Simple Tools

Canteen: Canteens come in two varieties, the basic Canteen and the Reinforced Canteen. Players can drink from canteens directly to restore thirst.
Hydration Pack: Hydration Packs come in two varieties, the basic Hydration pack and the Reinforced Hydration Pack. Hydration Packs are body baubles that automatically hydrate the player when worn. They can also be attached directly to chestplates.
Handheld Purifier: The Handheld Purifier is a handheld device that can purify liquids to fill Canteens, Hydration Packs, or any other fluid container. Includes CraftTweaker/GroovyScript support for additional fluid interactions.
Open Barrel: The Open Barrel is a basic fluid tank that can be used to collect rainwater.
Solid Fuel Purifier: The Solid Fuel Purifier is a device that uses burnable fuel to purify liquids. Includes CraftTweaker/GroovyScript support.

Portable Purifier: The Portable Purifier is a RF powered item that, when enabled, purifies fluid contained within the item and hydrates the player. This item can be equipped as a bauble.
Portable Regulator: The Portable Regulator is a RF powered item that, when enabled, regulates the body temperature of the player. This item can be equipped as a bauble.
Central Air Unit: The Central Air Unit is a RF powered machine that regulates the body temperature of all players in a large area.
Powered Purifier: The Powered Purifier is a device that uses redstone flux to purify liquids. Includes CraftTweaker/GroovyScript support.

Ritual of the Soothing Hearth: The Ritual of the Soothing Hearth is a Blood Ritual that regulates body temperature of all players in a large area.
Sigil of Temperate Lands: The Sigil of Temperate Lands is an LP-powered sigil that regulates the body temperature of the player when active.
Sigil of Hydration: The Sigil of Hydration is an LP-powered sigil that hydrates the player when active.

Gryllzalia: The Gryllzalia is a Functional flower that uses mana to regulate the body temperature of all players in an area.
