Welcome to Thingamajigs 2 Long Roads!

This mod requires Thingamajigs as a base mod. Do not play without Thingamajigs installed or your game will not work! You will need Thingamajigs for NeoForge 1.21 to use this mod!

This mod adds back asphalt, paintbrushes and their road paint, along with street marker signs!

In 0.0.3-1.0.0+, you can make custom road signs!

There are many road paint patterns to choose from for each paintbrush type.

Choose between white, yellow, and blue. Shift right click to 'activate' a paintbrush. Shift right click again to change your pattern type to the next in a series of patterns (pattern name is shown in the inventory, and saved to world). Right click your paintbrush on any block once your done selecting the pattern, and the paint will place!

1.0.0+ Paintbrushes can be right-clicked in the inventory to change their length, and by default in 1.0.0, you do not need to 'activate' paintbrushes, as they already have their default settings applied to all item instances. Just right click and have fun!

Craft a scrape tool, and it can remove all paint from the blocks they were put on.

On asphalt roads, you can paint certain patterns on them, and they will transform that block into the painted variant of the asphalt road, facing your direction as well. Use the scrape tool on these blocks too if you want to remove their paint, or harvest the block with a (stone or better) pickaxe to retain it's pattern.

Asphalt roads can be full or slab blocks. If a full block can support being a painted asphalt block, the slab form supports it too, including facing your direction (this means rotating slab blocks, basically; just place the slab/paint the slab and all the rest is done for you, intuitive, to say the least).

If paint cannot be put on a block, a sound or visual should warn you about the issue. Try experimenting when building to come up with new ways to build roads and paint them.
