Slime Finder

Tired of having to use an external website to find slime chunks ? Slime Finder offers you an in-game method to find them.

This is a Fabric mod, but a datapack version is available (only for minecraft 1.21.4) (the datapack version needs the resource pack or the staff will not render correctly).

Slime Dowsing Staff

This item will glint when held in a chunk where at least 1 slime has spawned naturally in a cave.

This item can't recognize a slime chunk if no slime has ever spawned in the said chunk. In a normal playthrough, by the time you have the resources to make a Slime Dowsing Staff, every slime chunks around your base will be registered.
