Description

I have often seen fences retextured to with the stripped log textures in order to give them a smoother appearance and give a more natural look to custom trees. After all, why would they be made of several horizontal planks anyways? Since I didn't like the idea of changing plank products to look like logs (which also has a separate color scheme), I made a resource pack to give some wooden objects a smoother, more versatile appearance while staying faithful to the color and look of the planks texture using slightly modified versions of the original textures.

Modifies the appearance of Wooden Fences, Fence Gates, Wooden Buttons, Tripwire Hooks, and Armor Stands.

This pack is compatible with my Consistent Fence Items resource pack, providing consistent item models for fences. To use both, have this pack selected BELOW the Consistent Fence Items pack.

Too smooth for you? Check out my Better Wood Products resource pack, which keeps the dark lines in the texture but realigns them to fit better.
