JJElytraSwap

JJElytraSwap is a mod that enhances your Minecraft experience by allowing you to seamlessly swap between a chestplate and an elytra.

How It Works

• Automatic Swapping: When you press the spacebar while airborne, your chestplate will be swapped with your elytra, and will be worn back when you land.
• Usage: Use the elytra as you normally would. The mod handles the equipment switch automatically for you.

Important Information

• Client-Side Only: This mod operates entirely on the client side. Use it at your own risk on multiplayer servers, and it's recommended to read rules or ask server admins before using it.

Armor Selection Algorithm (Version 2.0+)

Starting from version 2.0, the mod includes an improved armor selection algorithm to ensure the best chestplate is chosen. The chestplate with the highest score is selected. Here is how armor score calculated:

• Protection Points: 2 armor points per full protection point
• Toughness Points: 1 armor point per toughness point
  • Diamond Chestplate: 2 toughness points
  • Netherite Chestplate: 3 toughness points
  • Other Materials: 0 points
• Enchantments:
  • Protection: 2 armor points per level
  • Mending: 0.5 armor points
  • Custom Name: 0.25 armor points
  • Unbreaking: 0.06 armor points per level
