Overview

BR Class 158 in Northern by Arriva Livery The British Rail Class 158 Sprinter is a diesel multiple unit train built between 1989 and 1992 by British Rail Engineering Limited (BREL) in Derby, UK. Designed for regional passenger services, the Class 158 offered improved speed, comfort, and noise insulation compared to older rolling stock. It has a maximum speed of 90 mph (145 km/h) and continues to operate across many parts of the UK rail network.

This resource pack adds the BR Class 158 into Minecraft using the Minecraft Transit Railway mod. The original model was made by cw_315 for Transport Fever 2 and was ported to Minecraft by Vitor2005 in 2025. It is compatible with both MTR3 and MTR4.
