A resource pack for Minecraft Transit Railway.

Overview

This resource pack is to add a fictional Monorail train into Minecraft with Minecraft Transit Railway mod, made by Navi_LX9702 in 2025. This train is based on the Chester Zoo Monorail, which closed on 3rd September 2019.

Chester Zoo Monorail

The Chester Zoo Monorail (aka Zoofari) was a monorail system that existed in Chester Zoo from 1991 to 2019. The monorail is one-way only, travelling between Jubilee Square station and Tsavo station. 4 Monorail trains operated on the line, with all of them formed of 4 coaches, and each coach can take up a maximum of 6 passengers. One trip takes around 15 minutes. The monorail was closed on 3rd September, 2019, due to it being increasingly unreliable, and the system covers less than half of the zoo. Following the closure of the Chester Zoo Monorail, Alton Towers Monorail became the only Monorail system that still operates in Great Britain.
