Harvest Season

From carving pumpkins to putting out candy, Harvest Season is an essential Halloween mod!

We focus on general features which are stereotypically associated with Halloween, and develop these features in-depth.

Make a corn maze, find an abandon farm, produce candy corn, pop kernels over a campfire, and more. This mod focuses on the essence of Halloween, thereby translating its excitement into Minecraft.

CONTENT:

Pumpkin Carving:

• Use shears on the top face of a pumpkin to empty it
• After that either interact on its front face with a sword, a knife from Farmers Delight to carve it. Alternatively clicking on its secondary faces will bring up a handy GUI
• Once you are done either wax it or place a torch in it to prevent it from being edited!
• Snow golems can also wear custom carved pumpkins (forge)
• You too can wear them (forge)

Corn

• Corn is a new 3-block-tall crop that spawns in an Abandoned Farm, a new structure that you will come across.
• Corn can be used to make Corn on the Cob, Candy Corn, and Cornbread.
• Kernels can be used to make Popcorn. 
  
  
• When filled with kernels and placed next to a campfire will cook after 10 seconds will explode in a popcorn shower! Perfect for immersion
• Paper bags can be placed, and candy, kernels, popcorn, and more can be placed in them.
• Paper bags can also be worn (if you would like to be spooky!) (forge only)
• Can also hold modded candies (that use the sweets tag). Many modded candies are already included

Mod integration:

• Pumpkins can be carved with Farmers Delight knives
• When Farmers Delight is installed a new dish, succotash, can be crafted with corn. You can also craft corn crates
• Candies from other mods can be inserted in paper bags
• All corn recipes use tags for maximum compatibility
• Custom carved pumpkins will scare Alex Mobs crows away
