Lava-Mo-Tron

A small mod spurned on by a discord conversation about how annoying it can be that there is no easy way of creating lava without purging the Nether!

Requires Forge:

       1.17.1:HutosLib v2.22

       1.18.2: HutosLib v3.50
       1.19.4: HutosLib v4.5.0

       1.20.1: Hutoslib v5.1.0+

JEI is also recommended.

Powered by all normal furnace fuels, and can be used with hoppers for automation(Fuel = South, Bucket = East, Output = Bottom, Input = Top).

If empty buckets are placed in the far left it will use them up to fill the bucket, otherwise, it'll create a single-use 'Thermal Shard' which can be used to place a single lava source block.
