Lightstones 1.7.0 is out now for 1.19.2 Forge and Fabric.

This mod essentially adds waterproof torches called Lightstones. They can be obtained by mining Lightstone Ore, which will yield 3-5. They emit slightly more light than torches, but have collision, so they are not a replacement for torches, but are useful in desperate or aquatic situations. They also look cool! Pair them with Aqua Affinity for feasible underwater mining.

16,000 Downloads Milestone

Just checked this page today and was amazed to see 16,000 downloads (many from modpacks I'm assuming). Thanks to anyone who appreciates this little mod, it means more than you know. I'm slowly but surely working on the next update for this, with several new features in development. Have a good day!

Belated 400,000 Downloads Milestone

That's alotta downloads! Crazy how many mods folders this little tribute has reached. Originally I planned on releasing Lightstones 1.4.0 as a 200,000 downloads milestone. I sure missed that goal, mainly because I was trying to implement a lava surfboard that I still do not have the skills to program. In this 1.18 release, all 1.4.0 features (excluding the lava surfboard) have been implemented, as well as some new ones contributed by Sunconure11.
