Crops Need Sky

A Minecraft mod that makes crops and plants require direct sky access to grow, else they decay in a dead bush, adding a new layer of realism and challenge to farming.

Features

• Plants require direct sky access to grow and survive
• Plants without direct sky access will die when attempting to grow, turning into dead bushes
• Affects the following blocks:
  • All standard crops (Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, etc.). Should be compatible with other modded crops as long as they extend CropBlock class
  • Melon and Pumpkin stems
  • Sugar Cane
  • Bamboo
  • Cactus
  • Sweet Berry Bushes
• Prevents bone meal usage on plants without direct sky access

- This mod has no effect on tree saplings and fully grown plants

- Glass(Fabric version only) or leaves blocks will still prevent plant growth 

Custom config

• Check the cropsneedsky.toml file inside your config folder to enable/disable mod features
