Dynamical Compass

This mod adds only one item, the Dynamical Compass.
This mod is needed on client and server side.
Needs the Recipes Library (CurseForge or Modrinth)!

Features

The Dynamical Compass can be set to a destination position by shift (sneaking) right-clicking on a block.
It only shows in the direction of the destination position, when you're in the dimension, in which you have set the destination position.
If you're not in the destination dimension or the compass has no destination set, it spins like the vanilla compass in the nether or the end.
You can lock the Dynamical Compass with a glass pane, so the destination can not be changed.
Warning:

• You can't unlock the Dynamical Compass again.
• Even a Compass without a destination can be locked.

Dynamical Compass

Recipe: Gold Ingots, Lapis Lazuli

Lock Dynamical Compass

Effect: Locks the Dynamical Compass, so the destination can not be changed.
Recipe: Dynamical Compass, Glass Pane
Warning: You can't unlock the Dynamical Compass again.
Even a Compass without a destination can be locked.

Melt Dynamical Compass to a Gold Ingot

Effect: Melts the Dynamical Compass in a furnace to a Gold Ingot
Recipe: Dynamical Compass, Burning Material

Renaming Dynamical Compass

Effect: Dynamical Compass gets a custom name
Recipe: Dynamical Compass, Named Name Tag

Commands

• /giveDC <targets> <destination pos> <destination dimension> <locked>
  targets: Players who shall get the Dynamical Compass.
  destination pos: x and z coordinate of the block on which the compass shall show.
  destination dimension: dimension in which the compass shall show the destination pos.
  locked: Shall the destination be locked or not.
