MCA Social Expansion is an immersive add-on for Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn that aims to deepen, energize, and bring social relationships to life.

Instead of simply increasing hearts through repetitive interactions, villagers now react based on their personality, relationship level, memory, patience, emotional state, and how you choose to communicate with them.

Forge friendships naturally, gradually unlock romance, discover favorite gifts, and experience unique reactions that evolve over time.

Key Features

Dynamic Relationship System

Relationships are divided into:

• Friendship / Affinity
• Romance

Villagers react differently based on:

• Personality type
• Relationship level
• Interaction frequency
• Mood and tiredness
• Social memory
• Communication method

This makes each villager less predictable and more personal.

Multiple Social Communication Channels

MCA Social Expansion introduces different ways to interact with villagers beyond traditional face-to-face conversations.

Current communication systems include:

• Smartphone Social Networking
• Letter Social Networking
• Crystal Social Networking

Each channel has its own identity and context.

Smartphone Social Networking offers a modern, direct, and message-based experience.

Letter Social Networking offers a traditional, written, and personal experience.

Crystal Social Networking offers a magical, distant, and fantasy-inspired experience.

The goal is to achieve greater immersion across different modpacks and playstyles, whether your world is modern, medieval, magical, or roleplay-focused.

Personality-Based Reactions

Each villager has unique reactions based on their personality.

A joke that makes an extroverted villager laugh might annoy or offend a more serious one.

Interactions use dynamic probability systems to create more natural and unpredictable social outcomes.

Favorite Gift System

Giving gifts no longer simply grants free relationship points.

Villagers now:

• Have hidden favorite items
• React differently based on their personality
• Become wary of excessive generosity
• Respond differently depending on the gift’s value
• Unlock special bonuses with their favorite gifts

For example, an extroverted villager might enjoy a simple cookie more than a diamond, while an ambitious villager might prefer something more valuable.

Progressive Romance

Romance should be earned naturally.

Romantic interactions unlock gradually after building enough friendship, encouraging a slower and more immersive relationship progression.

This system is designed to make romance feel like a natural part of a relationship, not a shortcut.

Villager Memory and Patience

NPCs remember repetitive behaviors.

Repeating the same interactions can have consequences:

• Reduced effectiveness
• Warnings from villagers
• Lower chances of success
• Temporary rejection or ignored interactions

This encourages players to interact more naturally instead of repeating the same action over and over.
