Catzilla

Catzilla will bring giant kaiju-sized cats into your world! Below is a guide to get started, and all the details you need to conquer the kaiju world!

To get started, head deep below the surface into the bedrock zone and mine uranium ore by right-clicking with  a pickaxe and then brushing it to extract the uranium.  Once this task is complete, find a cat and feed it the delectable uranium to mutate and transform it into a Catzilla.

In order to tame Catzilla, players will need to use explosive force such as tnt in large quantities to eventually make the beast pass out, and then feed it massive amounts of uranium to tame it. It can be healed using uranium once tamed, and has many powerful attacks. Players may also kill an untamed Catzilla to obtain 1 of 6 different special items, which can be used on a Catzilla to change it's identity, giving it all new unique abilities and changing it's basic stats as well. Catzilla will sleep at night, showing their lazy nature as a cat. However their nature as a cat also lets you exploit their love for uranium to breed Catzilla, giving a new Baby Catzilla which could be any of the types listed below!

Catzilla


A basic Catzilla is a powerful creature. They can use a basic swipe attack using the left mouse button while riding, and can also sprint by holding your sprint keybind. While sprinting, players can left-click to do a tail spin attack, sending enemies flying and dealing devastating damage. Players may also trigger Catzilla to roar by pressing R, sending anything in your way hurling away. But by far Catzilla's most devastating attack of all is their Atomic Breath, this powerful attack can be trigged by holding G, as long as the player holds it is as long as it will last, with sufficient energy to do so. The attack deals massive damage to anything it hits, and destroys anything in it's path. However, with this great power comes great responsibility. Catzilla will slowly become more enraged the more damage is taken, and while this rage does fade with time, it increases much faster than it fades. When this meter is full, Catzilla will kick off it's rider and enter a radioactive fury, blasting everyting around it with atomic breath and other attacks before passing out. This hibernation lasts 10 minutes, making Catzilla highly vulnrable to attacks from other mobs, and so it is highly advised that you do not let it reach this point.

1954

This Catzilla is less powerful, but stylistic and weary. It's atomic breath does damage quicker, and it's attacks put it's enemies into a state of blindness. This Catzilla is less overpowering than others, however it is much easier to obtain than most Catzilla. It can be obtained by applying an Oxygen Tank to a Catzilla.

Burning

This Catzilla is very powerful, with it's attacks and atomic breath setting fire to anything they hit, as well as constantly glowing with burning hot radiation. But this Catzilla has an even more powerful ability triggered using the spacebar, and that is the Burning Shockwave. This extremely powerful attack requires the entire atomic meter to use, and sets everything in a 50 block radius on fire. This attack also knocks back enemies extreme distances, as well as dealing 50 damage on the spot and setting them on fire. This Catzilla becomes enraged much faster, so while it is powerful, those in possesion of it must be careful to avoid their own destruction from it's devastating attacks. It can be obtained by applying a Freeze Bomb to a Catzilla.

Tremorzilla

This Catzilla is a familiar face, possibly from another universe. It constantly glows with a green, nuclear-powered glow. It is capable of doing a charge, trigged by holding the left-click while sprinting with Catzilla. This attack makes Catzilla charge forward, knocking anything in it's way back and dealing heavy damage. However, this Catzilla is slower and takes longer to recover from attacking, and has less range with it's atomic breath. It can be obtained by applying a Noobfish to a Catzilla.

Legendary

This Catzilla is a powerful, commanding Catzilla who is capable of surviving more damage and is less prone to becoming enraged. This Catzilla is able to perform the feared Kiss Of Death, activated by holding G and pressing the left mouse button. Grabbing any mob in a 5 block radius that is smaller or the same size as it and blasting a high powered beam of atomic breath into their face. This attack is one of the most powerful of all Catzilla, and kills nearly anything it is used on. However, this attack can only be used every 5 minutes. It can be obtained by applying a Pocket Watch to a Catzilla.

Shin

This Catzilla is tanky and empowered, being larger and slower than other Catzilla but much stronger to compensate. This Catzilla has 3 stages to it's atomic breath, from smoke, to flames, and then to a thin, ultra-powerful beam which is twice as strong as other Catzillas. This Catzilla also deals much more damage with normal attacks, howevever they are twice as slow as well. This Catzilla can also passively regenerate health without the need of a player, due to it's rapid evolutionary abilities. It can be obtained by applying an Evolution Candy to a Catzilla.

2000

This Catzilla is quick and agile, being faster and more resilient than others. It's attacks are quicker to perform, and can charge it's attacks faster as well. This Catzilla is able to do the powerful tail spin and devastating atomic breath at the same time, without the need for a charge beforehand. This can cause devastating damage the the surroundings and to large crowds of mobs. However, this Catzilla deals less damage with normal attacks. It can be obtained by applying an Alert Sign to a Catzilla.
