Grimdark Sky Pack

My GRIMDARK SKY pack includes a completely custom starfield, pair of exo-planets, sun, chaos moon, shooting stars, and multiple cloud layers to enhance the look of your Java Minecraft experience. This sky pack was created drawing inspiration from some of my favorite dark fantasy worlds and is also included by default in my Grimdark Battlepack (coming soon to Modrinth). Please note, custom sky boxes require either Optifine or Fabric Skyboxes to render. If you are not using Optifine or Fabric, you'll only see the custom sun and moon textures. The Grimdark Sky pairs great with many other resource packs, but it was designed to complement my Grimdark Resource Pack Collection, which you can find on my Modrinth Profile.   Access bonus textures and other exclusive content by supporting this project on Patreon.

Q: Can I use this pack as a server resource pack for my server?
A: If you are running a small private server, Yes! I only ask that you not re-upload my textures elsewhere or redistribute them. Permission for public servers is granted to all active Grimdark Patrons.

Q: How do I get the variant textures?
A: Take the appropriate item to an anvil and rename it using the keyword specified above.

Q: The variant textures aren't working - how do I fix it?
A: Variant textures require you to play using Optifine with custom items enabled. Other mods/loaders might work, but they are not officially supported. If variants aren't working, double check your Optifine settings and disable other addons that might be causing conflicts.

Q: When is this pack / texture / feature coming to Bedrock?
A: IF it's possible, as soon as I can. Even though Bedrock and Java look similar at surface level they are VERY different. Just because something is created for one doesn't mean it is supported in the other. Similarly, some things are easy to do in Java that are extremely difficult to do in Bedrock. This means some features may never make it to Bedrock.

Q: Can you add X texture / feature?
A: Please submit all suggestions and requests via DM on Patreon.

Q: Can I redistribute the Grimdark textures in another pack/mod?
A: No.
