OpenWar – WW2 is a World War II themed PvP Faction modpack focused on realistic combat, large-scale faction warfare and long-term progression.

This modpack is made to be played on the official OpenWar – WW2 server.

🔫 Weapons – Modern Warfare Cubed (Custom Fork)

Modern Warfare Cubed is heavily modified for OpenWar:

• Realistic hitboxes (head, eyes, torso, stomach, legs, feet)
• Damage based on hit location and armor
• Fixed weapon sights
• Advanced lag compensation system
• Accurate server-side hit registration
• Immersive long-distance weapon sounds

This system provides a level of accuracy not found in standard Minecraft weapon mods.

🚙 Vehicles & Explosives – Flan’s Mod (Custom Fork)

Flan’s Mod is used exclusively for vehicles with a custom fork:

• Tanks, jeeps, planes and military vehicles
• Explosives, grenades and mines
• Hundreds of fixes for Minecraft 1.12.2
• Improved vehicle controls and physics
• Realistic sounds and particles
• Uses the 44_Warfare content pack
