Old and Forgotten VHS

                                 A modpack that brings you back.

     But not where you want to be...

The sun beams through the blinds and your eyes barely open to the daylight, all you could think about was hopping on minecraft with your friends. But to your demise the green dot was nowhere to be seen next to their usernames, guess you'll be playing on your own for a little while until they wake up. After all, its early morning, and nobody else in your family is awake either. You hear a dm pop up, its from an old friend-"Hey. Found this old file for an older version of Minecraft, too scared to try it myself so I'll leave it to you. Old Minecraft is way too empty for my liking, but I know you like that empty feeling while playing more than anyone else, so maybe you'll enjoy this more than I could haha. See you later!". A sudden dm from someone you haven't talked to in a while, an interesting interaction but what else do you have to do this morning anyways?

You launch the file, and it takes you to the title screen, just how you remember it. The title "Minecraft" appears on screen and it warms your heart to that old feeling. You create a world on survival, and are prepared to have the best time of your life....right? But something is off, you notice the world is a little foggier than usual, and some mechanics from more recent versions are in here, why? Something even more strange, a feeling, not one you've had before like the usual people do playing old Minecraft. You feel like you're being watched, but not just by one entity, by MANY. You brush it off a continue playing, but slowly the world gets strange generation, floating blocks that look like...crosses? Messed up villages with what appears to be signs from other players, how could this be? You were sure you started a singleplayer world, but again, you brush it off.

Suddenly it happens, a black figure appears and the whole game crashes. You get sent to a blue screen that reads the words....

And then you remember, all your friends are dead. So who sent you that message?

This modpack was a month long put-together of scary mods I thought would be good side by side. I loved the nostalgic feel of old minecraft, but also the eeriness of the baren land around you. So I put it into my own hands to make an old vhs nostalgic feel to Minecraft while also adding entities that extend that eeriness and sense that you are not alone...

If you don't like the VHS filter, Body Cam shader is available. Or you can disable the shader, the game was configured to look scary regardless of what you do.

ALL CREDIT goes to the people who made these mods, if you like what I put together, support the modders, not me. 

Essential is provided in this modpack so if you wish to play with friends, go ahead! But if you are alone...be aware that MULTIPLE entities are watching your every move, be careful...but hey, they'll be watching you and your friends regardless!

If you have any questions or bugs to report related to the mods put together, please let me know, I put a lot of work into this project and do not want it breaking (because I love giving this experience to ya'll).

No hints will be given about what lurks in this modpack, and I recommend going in blind as to NOT look at the content in this pack. There are settings you can configure to your liking if there is something you don't like in the modpack. Enjoy the experience!

I ENCOURAGE you to make videos on this modpack, it took a while for me to put together so I'd appreciate you playing it. Not because of fame or downloads, but because I want to see people enjoy what I made. Feel free to credit the modpack but DO NOT credit me for everything that happens in this pack, its a kitchen sink modpack (aka: I put together a ton of mods I didn't make) so none of this is my work. All the cool stuff and visuals and mechanics are credited towards the people who worked super hard to make the mods (in which I did not work with them, so it's important I mention the credit lol).
