Description
Vertical Scroll
Hold a modifier key and scroll to cycle items through the vertical column of your selected hotbar slot — no more opening your inventory just to swap what's in hand.
How it works
Each hotbar slot has a "column" — the three inventory slots directly above it. While holding the modifier key (default: Left Alt), scrolling rotates items through that column:
- Scroll up — brings the top item down to your hotbar
- Scroll down — brings the bottom item up to your hotbar
The hotbar selection stays put; only the items move.
HUD overlay
While the modifier key is held, a small overlay appears above your selected hotbar slot showing the three column slots with their items and stack counts. Arrows (▲ / ▼) indicate which end of the column will cycle to hand.

- Modifier key is rebindable — find it under Controls → Vertical Scroll
- Client-side only — works on any server, no server-side install needed
- Supports Minecraft 1.21 and above, including all 1.21.x releases and 26.1
