📃 Modpack Introduction

Forked from TskimiSeiran's Oriun Tagayasu, Kumo O Tagayasu is a comprehensive modpack themed around pastoral life.

⚙️ Resource Regeneration

Compared to the original modpack, this one achieves resource regeneration through adding, removing, and modifying mods. You can continue enjoying a relaxing countryside lifestyle, or take the path of an engineer and challenge yourself to mass-produce everything within the pack.

🤔 Semi-Vanilla Style Modifications

Recipes and quests in this modpack are not designed to chain different mods together strictly, but rather to extend their content naturally. Players can combine items across mods to simplify progression without being hindered by overlapping items with the same function.

📚 Content Expansion

By adding and removing mods, the content has been greatly expanded. You can:

Challenge eerie pirate ships as a wizard
Explore world cuisines across history
Ride a broom to visit milky-white planets and capture unique scenery with a camera

🌠 Multiplayer Optimization

Thanks to long-term server hosting experience, many QoL mods have been included to enhance gameplay. On servers, you can:

Experience the thrill of “crop stealing”
Feed lovingly cooked meals to other players
Send memes in chat
Or even play music to express your mood in unconventional ways

Q: How much memory is required?

Single-player/client: 6GB+ recommended. Test device: i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz, resolution 3000x1894.
Server: At least 6GB, scale up depending on player count and CPU performance.
You may need PCLII’s “Optimize memory before starting game” feature, or follow the wiki tutorial for proper JVM parameters.

Q: What if the game crashes on startup?

A: The modpack requires Java 17 or Java 21. Ensure your Java version is correct. If you’ve added/removed mods, check if the crash originates from that. Otherwise, provide crash logs and describe what you did before the crash.

Q: What is the red ERROR text in the lower-left corner after entering a save?

A: Submit an Issue on GitHub with screenshots or logs.

Q: Why does the game crash or show invalid player data after entering a save?

A: Common causes include:

Player nickname or game path containing Chinese characters
Forced shutdown (e.g., unplugging power without closing the game)
Adding/removing mods mid-play, corrupting the save. Solution: Restore from the last backup.

Q: Platform compatibility (Android, Linux, Mac)?

Mac & Linux: Disabled itlt, IMBlock, and Super Resolution to enter the game. To display images/videos from WATERFrAMEs, install VLC.
Android: Not Compat.
