The sky burned. The world died. You alone have a second chance... but you can't remember why.

You are an engineer on the top-secret Stargate Project. During a routine test, catastrophe struck. The gate didn't just open a wormhole; it ripped a gaping wound in Earth's magnetosphere. Unfiltered solar wind scoured the planet, stripping away the ozone and atmosphere. Within weeks, all life was eradicated.

You were chosen, placed into deep cryogenic storage in the facility's sub-basement, with one mission: awaken when the planet is habitable again, and fix everything.

Now, years later, the alarms blare. You stumble from your pod, gasping for air. Earth's magnetic field has healed, and a thin, new atmosphere is clinging to the surface. The world is silent, grey, and littered with the bones of a civilization you barely remember. Your mind is a blank slate, wiped clean by years of low-oxygen stasis. You remember how to eat, how to craft a stone axe, but the faces of your colleagues, the purpose of the Stargate—it's all gone.

Your only guides are the relics of the past: an FTB Task Manual you wrote to your future amnesiac self, and the scattered logs and handbooks of your fellow engineers, who weren't chosen for the pods. They are your only hope to piece together what happened, and to discover the true, terrifying nature of the disaster.
