Golden Netherite (Aka Gilded)

Welcome to Golden/Gilded Netherite! This is a very small but simple mod that simple mod that adds in a new set of Netherite Armour!

The armour is crafted by combining a piece of Netherite Armour in a Smithing Table with a Golden Ingot and it changes into Gilded Netherite Armour!

It serves one simple purpose which is that it keeps all the stats and protection of Netherite while making Piglins ignore you thanks to the Gold in your armour!

That's basically about it, it's a very small mod that adds just that!

Q: Is this the same as the original Gilded Netherite mod?

A: No no and no, I made the textures myself and with my friend, I coded it all myself even before Gilded Netherite had updated to 1.17, you can see this by the fact I didn't use Piglib and coded the protection Piglin ignoration myself. The textures are by far different to the original if you actually look at them
