Survival in a Frozen World

Every inch of the overworld is bound in ice. Food is rare, warmth is fleeting, and mistakes are permanent. You must carefully balance your nutrition and temperature, scavenging what little remains from the frozen earth or risk becoming another body lost to the snow.

The Storm Evolves, and So Do Its Monsters

The longer you endure, the worse it becomes. Mobs adapt to these extreme conditions, evolving to become stronger and more dangerous as time passes. What begins as a nuisance will become a nightmare, forcing you to progress—or be outpaced by the world itself.

The Age of Machines

Waterwheels freeze. Crops wither. Old methods fail. In Frostfall, survival hinges on Automation:

Engines, Windmills, and electricity must be made to replace frozen power sources.

Automation Systems must be made quickly to harvest scarce resources before the cold takes them.

Decorative Expansions have been ensured to help rebuild civilization within the storm.

Remnants of Humanity

Scattered across the wastes are structures powered by Automation- ruins of a world long gone, left behind when the storm claimed everything. These remnants offer both great dangers and rewards, standing as a constant reminder of what happens to those who fall behind...

The snow won’t stop. The mobs won’t weaken. Humanity is gone, and only those who adapt will endure.
