Better Bats overhauls the vanilla Bat into a dynamic, ecosystem-driven entity. It turns the useless ambient creature into a swarming, light-sensitive, and symbiotic neighbor.

✨ Features

🌪️ Hive Mind (Social Swarms)

Bats no longer fly in chaotic, individual patterns. They organize into cohesive swarms using the DasikLibrary Hive Mind system. Witness groups of bats moving as one through the cave systems.

💩 Guano Fertility (Natural Growth)

Forget magical bonemeal. Bats roosting upside down slowly accumulate guano. Every 10 minutes, they fertilize the soil beneath them. If you have a roost above your farm, expect faster crop growth!

💡 Phototaxis (Light Sensitivity)

Just like moths, bats are attracted to bright artificial light. They will break from their swarms to circle lanterns and torches, hunting for insects drawn to the glow.

🛡️ Pest Control (Symbiotic Defense)

Bats are your allies against the small things that crawl. They will aggressively attack and one-shot Silverfish and Endermites in their territory.

📢 Acoustic Panic

Caves are quiet for a reason. Loud noises like explosions or nearby mining will wake resting swarms instantly, sending them into a frantic scatter.
