Full changelog at the bottom.  --- ## What is Petlings? Petlings adds **client-side pet companions** to Minecraft. Pick from 42 pet species, dress them up with 150+ 3D cosmetics, teach them emotes, and watch them develop unique personalities. Your pet syncs across devices, so the same pet you see in Minecraft also appears on [petlings.gg](https://petlings.gg) and the upcoming iOS app. No server install required - Petlings runs entirely on your client. --- ## ✨ Features ### 42 Pet Species Cats, wolves, foxes, axolotls, baby dragons, elemental slimes, wisps, lantern imps, pigmy krakens, pocket phoenixes, mini gryphons, shadowling wolves, star sprites, nimbus pups, and more. Each has variants, randomized personality traits, and (for the May 2026 Bloom-release pets) **mood-driven texture switching**.  ### 150+ 3D Cosmetics Hats, glasses, capes, wings, weapons, trails, ears, tails, horns, collars, boots, back-items. All rendered as full 3D models attached to your pet, **animated cosmetics included**: the Storm Halo spins, the Clockwork Collar's gear turns, the Propeller Pack's blades spin.  ### Pet AI with Personality Pets follow you with smooth pathfinding, idle animations, wandering, sitting, playing, looking, and after 30 seconds of not moving, they curl up and sleep with a per-pet one-shot animation. Each pet has randomized playfulness / curiosity / laziness traits that drive behavior. ### Emote System 19 emotes across five categories: Greeting (wave, nod, bow), Dance (spin, hop dance, wiggle), Expression (happy jump, confused, sad droop, angry stomp, love hearts), Action (sit, beg, roll over, play dead, sleep), Trick (backflip, handstand, fetch). Press **Y** for the emote wheel.   ### Multiplayer See other players' pets with their cosmetics, tints, and emotes in real-time. Works server-wide on any backend, no plugins required. ### Cosmetic Editor Fine-tune the position, scale, and rotation of each cosmetic slot per pet type. Save profiles per pet. ### Pet Leveling & Abilities Feed, play with, and pet your companion to earn XP. Unlock **6 abilities**: Head Mount, Night Vision, Ore Radar, Swift Companion, Pet Satchel, Combat Buddy. ### Cross-Platform Sync Your pet, cosmetics, level, and stats sync to the cloud.
