Projectile Protection has a chance of preventing projectile attacks like arrows. With Projectile Protection 16 (4 on each armor piece) the odds of preventing the attacks becomes 80%

Fire Protection has a chance of preventing fire damage, and can even put fire resistance on its user. With Fire Protection 16, the odds of flicking on fire resistance becomes 50%, and it lasts for 6 seconds

Blast Protection has a chance of preventing explosion damage as well as Warden Sonic Booms. With Blast Resistance 16, the odds of preventing the damage becomes 100%, granting full immunity.
