Ascension - Out of the Depths

Ascension is a newly designed RPG modpack, focusing mainly on boss battles and exploration. Unlike many other modpacks, there are countless bosses to conquer, ranging up to 200+. RPG elements are greatly revamped and overhauled. A fully custom designed quest system to help you progress through the game, along with a completely unique in game store and currency that you will be able to use to unlock new gear and items to increase your strength and abilities. Terrain generation is expanded to the max, making every step you take feel different. It is best recommended to play with others, with each of you choosing a different class, but solo can work just as well! The modpack is still under some development, so if you experience any issues with the game or performance, please feel free to leave comment. I will be closely monitoring all feedback to hopefully improve the modpack to it's best version.

Key Features :

⚔️ Over 200 Unique Bosses, ranging from souls like bosses, all the way to Minecraft themed ones such as The Ancient Remnant. Along side the bosses, there is also a new combat system brought with hundreads of new weapons and armors.

💰 A unique store and currency system. After each boss you defeat, you will be granted a specific currency for the level of difficult, you will be able to spend it in the store to unlock better gear and equipment. Over time you can unlock Holy level items and weapons!

🧙 An overhauled classes system. Find a role that fits your playstyle the best. Whether it is becoming a Berserker, leaving behind your humanity to become a bloodthirsty warrior. An unmovable object such as the Paladin that paves the path and protects your allies. Or maybe your playstyle is more in the magic category, such as the the Sorcerer. There are multiple other classes all ready for the choosing.

🌎 World progression is locked behind bosses. For example, you won't be able to use certain ores until you defeat the boss pertaining to it. There is also the End Remastered mod, meaning you will have to defeat specific bosses to obtain their eyes that can be used to enter The End.

✨Multiple magic mods are included providing different styles of combat that can fit your playstle. You will be able to cast armageddon level spells, summon spirits, cast rituals and much more!

🗺️ An infinite expanding Fantasy World all for you to explore. Containing medieval castles, monstrous towers, breathtaking mountains, thounsands of dungeons/structures, and much, much more.

💍 Hundreds upon hundreds of wearable trinkets, artifacts, relics, and inventory pets to obtain. Each will give you a unique boost or buff to increase your strength throughout your journey.

⬆️ A Progression system that is completely overhauled. Rise of Heroes allows you to increase certain stats using XP to create a unique build that best fits you. Along side that, there is an immersive skill tree where you can also increase stats, and unlock new abilities. Finally, you will slowly level up over time, but beware, mobs will also scale with you.

🌌 15+ dimensions all for you to explore. Each one increasing the difficulty more and more. Just make sure you can find your way back...

Recommended to pre-load the chunks in the world with the "chunk pregenerator" mod for the best performance, and allocate 8-10 gb of ram. 32 gb of ram seems to be the ideal pc for this modpack.
