Shadowforms

Shadowforms is an extensive datapack that makes all mobs at light level 0 turn into shadowforms, as well as adding features centered around this mechanic.

Shadowforms

In dark places mobs turn into Shadowforms, which are stronger and faster than normally. In bright light, they're slow and weak. Some mobs are Strong Shadows, which are stronger and faster than regular shadowforms and don't weaken in light. Have fun :D

Blackened Heart

Blackened Heart is a block that can be obtained by killing Strong Shadows and can be used in a variety of rituals!

Structures

Shadowforms adds a new structure, called Ancient Villages, and a new biome, called the Smog.

Music

For added ambience the datapack includes 1 new music disc, "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint-Saëns and multiple other classical pieces to set the mood as background tracks.
