Description
This modpack includes all sorts of mods (performance, content, visual, etc.) that are sure to improve your experience such as: (Aquaculture 2, Mekanism + generators, Simple planes and ships, Waystones, Voicechat, Alex's Mobs, PneumaticCraft: Repressurized, Distant Horizons, etc.)
Specifically, the mods add an abundance of new mobs, technology items, and even clothing items to the game. Other mods included give the game a higher render distance without harming performance, add a minimap feature, and add much needed transportation options (teleport stones, ships, planes) to assist with exploring an earth-like map
There is also pre-installed shaders to choose from, and resource packs included along with various additions to ambient effects, which drastically change the look and feel of the game to better suit a more realistic and enjoyable playthrough
The total mod count is now over 200! All versions are made specifically for Forge 1.20.1
All mod credits go to the original creators
Updates may be put out if something is broken btw :))
Known Issues:
- Flamethrower + Using a shaderpack crashes the game (no current patch available)
- If there is a constant frame stuttering issue, it may be because there's not enough RAM allocated to Minecraft for it to run properly. Refer to the video linked below to fix this issue, or if no more RAM is available on your computer, you can paste a JVM argument into the box at the bottom of the curseforge Minecraft settings page to help with RAM usage and efficiency (just copy paste the grey text block below)
- Low frames can be caused by many reasons, including Distant Horizons being cranked up too high, or maybe too many entities, etc.
- If no or limited custom animals are spawning, there's a mod I've included to allow you to manually change the spawn rates to fix this issue.
NOTE:
If using Shaders + High render distances, make sure to allocate more RAM to be able to run them smoothly. Required RAM is somewhere around 6-8G. This can be done in the Curseforge App Settings. Further details below... (Adding RAM to Curseforge Video)
Paste this into the Additional Arguments section for improved RAM usage if you may (idk why it works but it just does, I got it from some guy):
-XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=40 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=15 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1
Note: As for how much RAM you should use on the slider, refer to the video linked above. Let me know in the comments if something doesn't work as intended. Anyways...
Enjoy the Modpack!
