Liminal Past

This project was originally created to recreate the feeling of Minecraft Beta.

The empty terrain.
The silence.
The fog. 
Everything should be familiar. But during testing, several inconsistencies were reported. Footsteps when no other entities were present.
Ambient noises playing in complete silence.

Some of my friends reported structures appearing briefly in the distance.
Others claimed the world felt "wrong", like something was watching them.

No files related to these behaviors could be located. No entities were found in the code. Nothing unusual was detected.

And yet they keep sending more reports.  Liminal Past attempts to restore the forgotten atmosphere of early Minecraft.

However, some parts of the world may not behave exactly as intended. If you notice anything unusual, you are encouraged to ignore it.

The game is working normally.
