🔍 What is Sound Detector?

Sound Detector is a next-generation HUD mod by CoreStudio that visually maps nearby sounds on your screen. Instead of simple text spam, it features a highly optimized, dynamically rotating circular radar. Whether you're tracking hostile mobs in dark caves, pinpointing players in PvP, or just exploring, this mod gives you the ultimate situational awareness.

⚡ Technical Excellence & Performance

• BufferBuilder Chevron Rendering: Unlike older mods that use ugly text brackets (like [!]), our arrows are natively drawn on the GPU using BufferBuilder for razor-sharp, modern chevron shapes.
• High-FPS Camera Interpolation: The radar calculates the player's exact head yaw and tickDelta. When you quickly flick your mouse, the radar elements spin with butter-smooth 144Hz+ fluidity—no stuttering, no 20 TPS jitter.
• Smart Sound Grouping: If a horde of 10 zombies groans at the same time, the mod intelligently groups them based on proximity, preventing screen clutter and UI spam.

🛠️ Advanced Features

• ⚔️ Intelligent Combat Fade: Don't let UI block your vision. When you swing a weapon, use an item, or take damage, the radar smoothly fades out. It features a 5.5-second persistence delay before fading back in, ensuring your focus remains unbroken during intense fights.
• 🌈 Asynchronous RGB Mode: Enable the Chroma setting to apply a perfectly offset, continuous RGB phase shift to each individual sound arrow.
• 🌍 Native Engine Localization: The mod directly taps into Minecraft's I18n (Internationalization) engine. This means entity and block names automatically translate into the exact language your game is set to—flawlessly.
• 📏 Pixel-Perfect Customization: Don't like the radar in the center of the screen? Use the settings menu to adjust the Radar X/Y Offsets, change the radius, and scale the text/arrow sizes completely independently.
