Runes & Rivets [The Antequest]

Runes & Rivets: The Antequest is a large-scale fantasy modpack that blends magic with a touch of engineering in an immersive, seamless way. Runes and Rivets provides a truly unique immersive experience that will completely absorb you into this fantasy universe.

• R&R: Antequest is chock-full of content ranging from numerous different weapons and spells to a wide variety of mobs, animals, and NEW bosses!
• R&R: Antequest will always be exciting, with plenty of questlines, even some hidden ones, to follow and a progressively more challenging world that grows and changes over time!
• A little bored with the standard start? R&R: Antequest comes with a plethora of mods, which completely overhauls the vanilla progression system.

Origins and Customization

• With the addition of the Origins mod, there are now 18 different species you can pick from, which can completely change your gameplay experience. Many come with their own buffs, debuffs, and unique features.
• Additionally, MCA implements character creation, which further enhances the RPG experience.

Early-Game Progression

• Inspired by modpacks such as TFC and waccyy's Fantasia, R&R: The Antequest introduces a complete overhaul of early-game progression. Mods such as No Tree Punching and Overgeared introduce brand new mechanics and changes to many vanilla systems.
• No Tree Punching makes it so trees and most blocks can no longer be mined without the correct tools. To cut down your first tree, you must first gather flint and fashion yourself a flint hatchet. Additionally, the tool progression has changed to: Stone > Copper > Iron. Wooden tools are no longer in the game!
• Overgeared introduces a new smithing system for tools and armor. To craft most tools and armor, you must now forge them on a smithing anvil. However, to get started with stone tools, you must collect rocks and use the newly implemented knapping system to make the heads/blades of your tools! More info is available in-game as a questline!

World Changes

• The world is now vast and full of many new biomes. Almost all vanilla overworld biomes have been removed or overhauled! Terrain Generation is set to be far more realistic, with continents separated by large oceans, towering mountains with snowy peaks, and realistic rivers that always lead to an ocean.
• Harsh seasons will now loom over your world, with freezing cold winters and blazing hot summers. Be sure to always be prepared. Legendary Survival Overhaul introduces many new mechanics, such as thirst, temperature, and localized damage.
• No more useless sidequests! There are only three primary realms: Ahran, the overworld; Inferna, the nether; The Abyss, the end.
• Many new structures and ruins now litter the world. Explore them to find specialty items and powerful spells!
