If the resource pack is disabled, the items will use vanilla textures and entities will turn into their vanilla counterparts. (e.g. smurfcat turns into a small zombie with smurfcat player head and white and blue leather armor) Custom sounds can only be heard by people with the resource pack.

This mod adds creatures that you wouldn't have expected to be in minecraft, completely server sided.
