Welcome to Stop Mob Spawn mod, a simple mod that blocks all vanilla mobs from spawning and gives you a clean slate for any mod packs you are making, or if you want a more immersive experience with an existing one.

Who this mod is for:

This mod is for any players that want a completely clean slate for their next mod pack, this means having no vanilla mobs, meaning that this is best used for mod packs that are total overhauls of the game, where having Creepers, Endermen, Spiders, Cows, etc is immersion breaking, and trying to use a configuration mod is a bit to difficult, and this mod will fix that by needing no configuration, and just blocking all of the mobs from spawning right out of the gate.

How this mod works:

This mod works by canceling the spawning of most of the mods within Minecraft, meaning that you will never see them, or even hear them, however in order to avoid soft locking the game there are a few exceptions, firstly the Illagers have a one tick delay to stop them from breaking raids, the Wither is auto defeated to make sure you can get the nether star, and the End Dragon is also auto defeated to make sure you can escape from the End Dimension and don't get soft locked in that dimension.

Q: Does this mod disable structures? A: No, Minecraft already offers a way to do that within the world creation settings.

Q: Why not use commands to disable spawning? A: That will disable modded mobs as well, this simply blocks vanilla mobs.

Q: Is this mod compatible with other peoples mods? A: It might have issues with other vanilla mob spawning mods, however new content mods it should have no issues with.
