Description

FentCraft

Disclaimer: I do not condone the abuse of fentanyl or any drug for that matter. This mod was made as a joke!

FentCraft is a 1.20.1 Forge mod that allows you to synthesize fentanyl with realistic recipes in Minecraft and start your own drug empire!

Features

  • Realistic* crafting recipes
  • Side effects reminiscent of real life
  • Laced food and other curious trinkets
  • Other fun substances that add to the gameplay experience

*Somewhat. Despite appearances, I don’t partake in fentanyl abuse, nor am I an aspiring chemist.

Versions

  • Target Minecraft version: 1.20.1
  • Target Forge version: 47.3.0 (you can still run this on other versions, of course)

Install/Setup

This mod needs to be installed on the server and the client.

The config contains a whopping one value. Use said value to change whether laced foodstuffs are distinguishable from untainted food.

Q&A

Can you add compatibility with X?

I won't give a definite "yes." But if it's popular enough, I can certainly try. I will say that I've tested it out in a modpack with over 170 other mods without issues, though.

Is X version supported?

Right now, I’m only working with 1.20.x versions of the game. I don’t plan on supporting older versions. I’m planning to port this to 1.21.x soon, though.

Why can't I lace foodstuffs from X?

Unfortunately, due to how the recipes are registered, making foodstuffs laceable is a manual job. Could I come up with some way to support every single food item from every single mod? Maybe, it's probably not impossible. But we're talking about FentCraft here; I mean, is it really worth it? This probably won't be possible until a 1.21 migration anyhow, since there is no common food tag in 1.20.1 for mods to register to (unless I suck at programming, which is equally likely).
