Example 1: Clicking empty slot with item

Click on an empty slot with an item to put that item into the slot.

Example 2: CTRL+Clicking filled slot with item

CTRL+Click on a filled slot with an item in your cursor to override it.

Example 3: CTRL+Clicking filled slot with no item

CTRL+Click on a slot without an item to clear it.
