Description

Master the art of grappling with Advanced Hook Launchers - a physics-driven traversal mod that turns exploration into acrobatic adventure.

Launch three specialized hooks with distinct mechanics: the powerful Pudge for combat and entity pulling, the versatile Spear for long-distance climbing and damage, and the elastic Web for safe swinging and momentum-based movement.

Dual-wield your hooks, swing with momentum, perform Tarzan jumps, and feel the authentic weight of your targets as physics realistically impact your grappling mechanics.

Key features

  • Advanced and realistic physics
  • Ability to use multiple hooks at the same time
  • Works in multiplayer
  • Fully configurable: set hook strength and fire resistance, change rope color, length and elasticity, extend launcher durability and reeling speed
  • The weight of the target relative to your weight is taken into account (do not even try to land the dragon alone!)
  • The hook can withstand only a certain maximum weight 
  • The tension force of the rope depends on its elasticity

Usage

Main hand

  • Launch - press Left Mouse Button
  • Reel / Unhook - press Left Mouse Button while holding Left Shift
  • Pull - press or hold Left Mouse Button
  • Loosen - press or hold Left Mouse Button while holding Left Control

 

Off-hand

  • Launch - press Right Mouse Button
  • Reel / Unhook - press Right Mouse Button while holding Left Shift
  • Pull - press or hold Right Mouse Button
  • Loosen - press or hold Right Mouse Button while holding Left Control

 

Extra controls

  • Swing - use A-W-S-D to build momentum
  • Jump Boost - while pulling, press Left Shift holding Space
  • Tarzan Jump - while swinging, double tap Space
  • Release - being grappled by another player, press Left Mouse Button holding Left Shift (when ridding, just left-click)

 

Features

Pudge hook

  • attaches to tree leaves, poles, iron bars and fences
  • rips out torches, bells and lanterns
  • pulls entities and players
  • dismounts riding entities
  • auto-pulling
  • medium distance
  • high hook strength
  • high fire resistance

Spear hook

  • attaches to any block except blocks with high hardness (metal blocks, obsidian, etc.)
  • breaks glass
  • makes damage to entities on hit
  • long distance
  • medium rope elasticity
  • medium fire resistance

Web hook

  • sticks to any surface except sandy blocks
  • safe for other players (makes no damage)
  • long distance
  • high rope elasticity
  • low fire resistance
