Overview

Mark5a set The British Rail Mark 5A is a type of locomotive-hauled passenger carriage built between 2018 and 2019 by Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) in Beasain, Spain. Designed for modern intercity travel in the UK, the Mark 5A offers high levels of passenger comfort, accessibility, and safety. With a maximum operating speed of 100 mph (160 km/h), these coaches are primarily used by TransPennine Express for services connecting major cities in northern England and Scotland.

This resource pack adds the BR Mark 5A into Minecraft using the Minecraft Transit Railway mod. The original model was made by cw_315 for Transport Fever 2 and was ported to Minecraft by Vitor2005 in 2025. It is compatible with MTR4.
