Citadel (NeoForge)

A modern NeoForge port of Citadel, the powerful animation and entity framework used by many large-scale creature mods.

This project brings Citadel to newer Minecraft versions on NeoForge, preserving its core systems while updating it to work cleanly with modern APIs and mappings.

About the Original Project

Citadel was originally developed as a shared backend library for Forge and serves as the foundation for many major creature-focused mods.

All credit for the core system design and framework logic belongs to the original developer. This NeoForge port exists to provide parity and long-term support within the NeoForge ecosystem.

What Is Citadel?

Citadel is a shared backend library that provides:
