This project is formerly known as "Raw Ore to Blocks"

Efficient Raw Ore Blocks Smelting allows you to smelt and blast Raw Ore Blocks saving you a little bit of time and fuel when you have a ton of ore to smelt. It was mainly created to speed up the process of smelting copper, as there's always a ton of it, but it also works with iron and gold.

There's also a few add-on avaliable that adds the ability to smelt raw ore blocks from other mods. To find out more, check out my profile where you can find all my projects, along with those add-ons.

Feature balancing

I didn't want this datapack to be overpowered, so there are two things I did to balance it and keep that Vanilla-like experience.

• Smelting Raw Ore Block takes the same time as smelting 8 single raw ores saving your time by one ingot per block. (1600 ticks in the furnace, 800 ticks in the blast furnace). It also ensures that you will use only one piece of coal for every block smelted, so you're saving one coal piece per 8 smelted block.
• Smelting Raw Ore Block gives you the same amount of EXP as smelting 9 single raw ores so you're not losing any experience.

Recipes

This datapack adds 6 new recipes that allow you to smelt raw ore blocks — 3 recipes for the furnace and 3 for the blast furnace.

Advancements

This datapack comes with 4 new advancements. 3 of them will reward you for smelting raw ore blocks with some additional experience points.

I plan on updating this datapack once new full releases of Minecraft comes out.

Compatibility with Fabric mods / bukkit or spigot plugins
