Share The Spare - Share Cured Villager Discounts

Tired of being the only one who did the zombie villager arc while your teammates get full price trades? Yeah. This fixes that.

When someone cures a zombie villager, everyone on the server gets the discount — not just the hero who wasted 8 minutes babysitting a shaking villager.

How does it actually work?

Minecraft already has a system called gossip — villagers internally remember who cured them and reward that player with discounts. Normally this only applies to the curer.

This mod simply tells the villager that everyone cured it. That's it. No fake data, no hacks — it uses the exact same gossip system Minecraft already uses, just for all players instead of one.

What it does

• Someone cures a villager → whole server benefits, no questions asked
• Join late? You're synced automatically. We don't leave people behind
• Server restart? Still works. Discounts live in the world save, not in RAM and prayers
• Already got the discount? It skips you. It's not stupid

No commands. No config. Just install and forget it exists.

Requirements

Server-side only — your friends don't need to install anything. They just reap the rewards like they always do.

Other Platforms & Versions

Currently only available for Fabric 26.1.

Made this for fun and to fix the problem on my own server — other mods that do this weren't working on 26.1 so I just made one myself. Published it in case anyone else is dealing with the same thing.

If this actually helps enough people, I'll consider porting it to other loaders and versions.
