Description
Mending Reworked is a mod that reimagines the way the Mending enchantment works, while keeping a vanilla-like experience:
- Mending is now obtainable from the enchanting table
- Items with Mending no longer repair themselves with experience orbs
- Instead, you can repair them at an anvil using a specific material, for a flat cost of 1 experience level per repair
Repair materials by item type:
- Tridents → repaired using Prismarine
- Bows → repaired using String
This system makes repairing more immersive and resource-based, while keeping Mending useful in a balanced, intuitive way
