The Tech Bench allows you to craft weapons, armor, ammunition, and automated turrets.
It’s designed to be simple and accessible, giving you everything you need without unnecessary complexity.

The Upgrade Bench focuses on improving your gear. Here you can enhance your weapons, making them stronger and more effective as you progress.

Guns are built to feel distinct and reliable. Each one has different performance, encouraging you to choose based on your playstyle rather than raw power.

They can also have abilities: special effects applied to targets when hit. Guns can be upgraded up to level 10, adding depth without overcomplicating combat.

The system is designed to keep crafting easy while still giving you powerful tools, making survival smoother even in extreme scenarios like apocalyptic or infection-based worlds.

The mod is fully compatible with Harmony: Symbiotic Ascension, including specific features designed to work alongside it.

Controls

• Left Mouse Button → Shoot
• Right Mouse Button → Aim
• R → Reload (configurable)

The mod is fully configurable through the better_tech_weapons config files:

• common.toml
• client.toml
• server.toml

You can configure it more easily using Configured by MrCrayFish.
While current options are limited, they will expand over time.

Turrets

Turrets are designed as modular and scalable defenses.

• Naming system: T + serial number
• Require energy (via craftable batteries)
• Can be removed by water

Types

• Railgun
• Single Shot
• Volley Shots
• Rockets
• Energy

Each type behaves differently and uses its own ammunition.

Upgrades

Turrets can be upgraded using modules:

• Level depends on installed modules
• Upgrade module allows exceeding the 5-module limit
• Improves durability and damage

Targeting

Targeting can be:

• Manual
• Filter-based

You can choose to attack:

• Other players (excluding the owner)
• Animals
• Hostile mobs
• Any entity that engages the turret

Better Tech Weapons: Robot Revolution

Set in a world marked by centuries of war.

Robots existed long before the rise of humanity. When players appeared, something in their behavior changed. They adopted the same ideas as the symbionts (Harmony: Symbiotic Ascension), and from that moment their goal became clear:

Eliminate all civilization.

Villagers, once living peacefully alongside robots, have become the Rebels—the last resistance against extinction. Their outposts are scattered across the world, serving as their final refuge.
