This mod implements a high-performance LoD (Level-of-Detail) renderer into the game, which makes it possible to have good performance even at absurdly high render distances.
FarPlaneTwo is still under heavy development, and is changing far faster than I can update it on CurseForge. For the latest bugfixes and features, consider downloading the mod from Jenkins.

This mod is NOT a performance mod. It does NOT intend to improve your overall framerate, although it can have that effect if configured a certain way. However, the goal is to get playable framerates at extremely high render distances, NOT to make the game run faster. It therefore does NOT intend to replace other mods such as OptiFine.
