Like Hardcore gives survival a deadly system: every third death permanently steals one heart, and hitting zero locks you in spectator until you earn life back. A lightweight, server-only tweak that keeps the hardcore rush without world deletion.

Description

Core Features

Hearts are a resource: start with 10 full hearts (configurable).
Three strikes, one gone: every 3 deaths (tunable) you permanently lose 1 full heart (2 HP).
Zero hearts = zero agency: reach 0 hearts and you’re locked in spectator until an operator intervenes.
Seamless multiplayer: lives are player-bound, synced instantly, no GUI clutter, no client mod required.
Bullet-proof edge-cases: creative & spectator players are ignored;
Commands: you can set and reset healts by the like_hardcore command.
100 % configurable: everything is configurable in likehardcore-server.toml.
