Description
This is a mixin mod requested by a modpack maker. It allows you to tweak how vanilla enchantment works from server config and settings applied immediately.
The purpose of this mod is to balance the protection enchantment, since it’s too overpowered in most situations. In most mod-packs you are able to get protection V and above, so there is really no point in getting Blast protection, Projectile protection, or Fire protection at all.
By default, the mod makes the protection enchantment only works on Melee, Projectile, and Blast damage. It will not reduce poison, wither, any magic damage (include the ones from the mod), and everything else Also gives it a 30%(configurable) nerf.
Current support:
- Custom Protection enchantment tweaks
1. Two extra different modes for damage type reduced whitelist (1. Melee, 2. Melee+Projectile+Explosion, 3. Vanilla(All) )
2. Add Magic protection (Can be removed completely in the config, set it to false if you don’t want it to appear at all!)
3. Custome typemodifier that is accurate to decimal (Allow you to nerf damage reduced for Protection enchantment, or buff/nerf the other protection type.)
- Custom Sharpness tweaks
1. Custom damage multiplier ( (0.5 * level + 0.5) * CUSTOM_MULTIPLIER )
